One device can hold several showcases: your own, and any you were given the recovery key to. Each is separate, with its own key, site, listings and settings. Opening one shows only that showcase.

## Switching

Tap or click the showcase's name at the top of the list (the sidebar on the iPad and Mac). Its menu lists every showcase on the device; pick another, and everything changes to it: the list, the cards and the theme. **Manage Showcases…** at the end of the menu opens the card where you add one, add one with its recovery key, or remove one from this device.

## Managing the list

**Manage Showcases…** in the switcher opens the **Showcases** card, the same on every device. **Open** switches to one. **Add a Showcase** creates one, and **Add with a Recovery Key…** adds one you have the key to. **Refresh** looks for showcases that have just arrived from your other devices, and says what it found. Touch and hold a showcase (right-click on the Mac) for **Remove from This iPhone…**, **Remove from This iPad…** or **Remove from This Mac…**.

## Taking a showcase off a device

Removing a showcase only takes it off this device's list. *The site stays up.* Its key stays in your iCloud Keychain, so you can bring it back with its recovery key. Back the key up before you remove it. See Your key and iCloud Keychain (GS-3). You can't remove the showcase that is open; switch to another first.

## Things that are per device

- The list of showcases and which one is open.
- Your own themes: you make them once and every showcase on the device can wear them. See Making your own theme (ST-8).

Everything else belongs to the showcase and is the same on every device that holds its key.
