Your schema's statuses are listed under **Statuses** in Inventory Settings (**Edit** on the listings page). Each says which home tab it falls under, whether it is on the website (a **globe**, or a crossed-out eye when it isn't), and whether the site marks it.

## Adding or editing one

**Add Status**, or tap or click one to edit it:

- **Label**: what it is called, such as *Lent out*. Up to 30 characters.
- **Home tab**: the tab it falls under in the app, one of the tabs you have or **New tab…**. The listings page has one tab per group of statuses, so the tabs stay few. With the Vehicles schema, Available, Pending and On hold all fall under *For sale*.
- **On the website**: off, and listings with this status are off the site until it changes.
- **Marked on the site**: the site shows the status's name beside each listing, as it does *Sold*. Off, the listing is shown with nothing marked, like *Available*.

A new status goes just before Hidden. Like every change in Inventory Settings, it reaches the site when you publish with the check mark.

## The first status

The first status in the list is where new listings start. It is also the "home" status: a listing in it shows no mark in the app, and has no status note.

## Hidden

Every showcase has **Hidden**, last, *Built in · never on the website*. It can't be edited or removed.

## The Tools & equipment statuses

A Tools & equipment showcase from before statuses could be edited offers **Use In the shop, Lent out, Out for repair**, the built-in set for a workshop. Any status a listing still uses is kept.

## How the site marks them

*Sold* is marked in red, *Pending* in yellow and *On hold* in amber; any other marked status gets a quiet mark in your theme's colors. In the Gallery layout, a sold piece has a red dot instead.

Statuses are listed in the order the schema has them; the status list in a listing's form and the **Mark** choices on the listings page follow that order. See Statuses and the status note (LS-3).

To take a status away, see Removing fields and statuses (SC-5).
