A field on the website has four more settings in its editor. Together they decide what a listing is called, what visitors can find it by, and what an empty field says.

## Headline

A listing's name is its **headline**: the values of the headline fields, in order. For vehicles it is Year, Make and Model, so a listing reads *2014 Volvo XC60*.

In a field's editor, **Headline** places it: **Not in it**, or a position such as *First, before Make* or *After Model*. The positions renumber by themselves. Inventory Settings shows *headline 1*, *headline 2* on those fields.

The headline also makes a new listing's web address, so it is always public: a field kept only in the app can't be in it.

## Search filter

**Search filter** lets visitors find listings by this field's values in the site's search. See Search, sorting and categories on the site (ST-12).

## Sort by it

For Number, Money and Year fields. On your price field, it gives the site its **Lowest price** and **Highest price** sorts.

## When empty, show…

What the site says for a listing that has no value here, up to 40 characters. *Call for price* on a price, *Price on request* on art, *Signed prints available* on an Editions field. In a listing's form it shows in gray in the empty field, so you know what visitors will read.

A sold listing with no price says nothing about price, rather than *Call for price*.

## The price field

Your price is an ordinary Money field: the one first made with the label *Price*. You can rename it later and it stays the price. The site puts it under the headline instead of in the details, uses it for the price sorts, and tells search engines the price. The built-in Vehicles, Artwork and General schemas have one; Tools & equipment has none, so its listings show no price.

## The Category field

A pick-list made with the label *Category* is your showcase's categories. Its choices are the buttons above your list, on the site and on the app's listings page, and the rooms of the Gallery's wall. Keep it on the website for that to work.
